In fact, he loved me, and wanted to spend the rest of his life with me, only me, wonderful me! Now that's what I call real love. After convincing my Dad that Marty did not plan to be a wrangler forever, we got married in 1983. (We're still in love!)

Our first child, Kelly Scott Franklin, was born in 1984. We read him lots of books so he would be smart. We also took 345,672 photos of him in his first year alone! He has turned out to be smart and to like books, so I guess we did something right.
In 1987 we had another kid. This one was a girl. Her name was Jody Kaye and she was a nice, quiet, well-behaved little baby. NOT! She was a wild child! So naturally she had to become a classical musician. She plays several instruments but the pipe organ is her favorite because she gets to play with her feet.
